This headlight switch fits 1971-1979 Standard Beetles, 1971-1972 1302 Beetles, 1971-1974 Karmann Ghias, and 1970-1973 Type 3 models. It features several terminals to ensure proper connection within your vehicle’s electrical system, including power for the headlight relay (56), running light terminal (58), dashboard bulbs (58b), and ignition switch (X). When installing, be aware that only one of the two 30 terminals should be connected to supply battery power from the fuse box—correct wiring is essential. Installation requires the escutcheon nut (111941515D) for secure mounting.
